Ingredient Transparency

Here at Rustic Scoop, it's highly important to us to be transparent about our product ingredients.  We know that some of our customers have severe food allergies and/or celiac disease, so it's critical for us to share what is in our products for their safety.  Each of our simple and clean ingredients have been hand selected from companies that we rigorously screen.  Their production lines, allergen testing, what allergens (if any) are in their facility, and how they ensure no cross contact with gluten or any of the top 8 allergens (except coconut) are examples of what we screen for.  Along with that, we also test our products on a schedule to ensure they are free from gluten and the top 8 allergens (except coconut).  It's imperative to us that our products are safe for our food allergic and celiac customers.  We are proud of our ingredients and our supply chain! 

Our Manufacturing Facility

Our facility is free from gluten and all of the top 9 allergens (except coconut).  Two of our products do contain coconut (Pancakes/waffles and Chocolate cake/cupcakes) and the other two without coconut (Sandwich bread and Pizza crust) are made on shared equipment with coconut.  We thoroughly clean all of our equipment between productions and space out the production of our products that contain coconut from those that don’t.

Our products are Free From gluten and the top 8 allergens (except coconut)!  The Top 9 Allergens are:

tree nuts
peanuts
wheat
soy
sesame

The Manufacturing Facilities our Ingredients come from:

*All of the ingredients we purchase are made on dedicated lines free from gluten and the top 9 allergens except our coconut sugar of course.  The coconut sugar we use is made on lines that only produce coconut sugar.

Many of our ingredients are made in shared facilities with other allergens, but are made on separate lines.  The rest of our ingredients are from gluten free and top 9 allergen free facilities. 

1.  Our cocoa powder is made in a shared facility with dairy products.

2.  Our psyllium husk is made in a shared facility with tree nuts, soy, and wheat.

  • Sandwich bread mix
  • Pizza crust mix

3.  Our Cream of Tartar is made in a shared facility with peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy, and milk products

  • all of our products contain cream of tartar

4.  Our Brown Rice Flour, White Rice Flour, Gluten-Free Oat Flour, Tapioca Starch, and Arrowroot Starch are packed in a shared facility with dairy, tree nuts, wheat, and other gluten containing products.

All of the companies we purchase ingredients from practice Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure no cross contact.  Our policy is that we only use ingredients that are made on separate equipment from gluten and the top 8 allergens (except coconut).
