Yeast Free Flat Bread- gluten-free, top 9 allergen free

We know that yeast is hard to come by these days so we want to be sure you can still use our bread mix.  There are many people also that can't tolerate yeast, so this is a great alternative for anyone.  Here at Rustic Scoop, we are determined to give you as many options and ways to use our mixes as possible.  Versatility is important and makes life more delicious, right?!

We have a test kitchen that is often buzzing with new food experiments.  Our sandwich bread mix has been in the kitchen for the last few weeks to come up with an amazing yeast free bread.  Our favorite by far is this flatbread that is yeast free, gluten free, vegan, and free from the top 9 allergens, not to mention to die for.  Our resident test team cheers when we make this and beg for more.  We know you'll feel the same way.  As always, if you have any questions, please let us know.  We are always happy to help.

Yeast Free Flat Bread

Ingredients
1 Rustic Scoop™ Sandwich Bread Mix

1 teaspoon Baking powder
2 ½ Cups Sparkling water
6 Tablespoons Milk of choice
½ Cup Egg whites or egg substitute listed on our Sandwich Bread product page
2 teaspoons White vinegar or substitute listed on our Sandwich Bread product page

Toppings
Coarse salt
Garlic finely ground or garlic powder
Italian Seasoning
Olive Oil

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F, the convection setting works well if you have it.  If not, no worries.  Prepare a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

In a stand mixer, put in your Rustic Scoop™ Sandwich Bread Mix and the baking powder.  Briefly mix to ensure the baking powder is well combined.  Next, add the rest of the wet ingredients and mix on medium speed until well combined and smooth.  Using a spatula, scrape the dough onto your prepared baking sheet and evenly spread.  Drizzle with olive oil and the other toppings.  There are no right or wrong toppings so feel free to add whatever you would like.  Bake for 22-24 minutes or until golden brown, but still soft.  Rotate half way through baking to be sure it bakes evenly.  Enjoy with marinara, olive oil with balsamic vinegar and spices, with a salad, as a sandwich, or all on it’s own.
